The University of Tartu welcomes all prospective bachelor’s and medical students to join the Open Doors Day, which will take place on 27 February 2025 at the University of Tartu Library in Tartu, Estonia.

Open Doors Day will begin with registration at the University of Tartu Library, where all international students will receive welcome bags. The library doors are open from 9:00, and registration starts at 9:30. The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Aune Valk will deliver an opening speech to welcome participants. Then, participants can explore the vibrant study fair and visit the International Student Ambassadors table to connect with and learn from fellow students. The International Student Ambassadors will organise quizzes, providing a fun and interactive way for participants to engage with university life.

Alongside the fair, the event includes info sessions on the bachelor’s programmes in Business Administration and Science and Technology, the integrated bachelor’s and master’s programme in Medicine, and the degree programmes at Narva College, designed specifically for Ukrainian students. These sessions will take place in the Kodavere Room of the University of Tartu Library, on the same floor as the study fair. The full schedule of sessions is available online.

Following the information sessions, participants are invited to explore the university campus through two guided tours. The first tour will take future Business Administration students to the Delta Centre, while the second tour will guide Science and Technology and Medicine students through Biomedicum and the Institute of Bioengineering. The full tour schedule is available online.

Participants are also encouraged to visit the University of Tartu’s museums, including the University of Tartu Art Museum, the Old Observatory, the University of Tartu Museum, and the Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden. Entry to all university museums will be free upon mentioning the password Open Doors Day at the entrance.
